No, we usually send all our orders via parcel post. We chose this because parcel post usually offers faster delivery and the track and trace feature allows us to track and resolve any delays and problems. We tried letterbox parcel post, but this led to significant problems such as delays, lost parcels and incorrect status scans. As a result, we prefer to opt for a slightly higher shipping rate to provide better service to our customers rather than opt for cheaper shipping options with potentially more problems.
Download the tracking app for Post.nl or DHL to track your order:

Shipments to Belgium are automatically insured. In case a customer is not present in Belgium, the shipment will be sent to a pick-up point. Furthermore, it is possible to deliver parcels in Belgium to neighbours up to 3 houses left or right if the intended recipient is absent. It is important to note that a shipment to Belgium will be returned if the name on the door does not match. Suppose your customer's name is Jan Jansen, but the name on the door is Piet Pietersen, the driver will not ring the bell. This is because the name listed is incorrect, and as a result the shipment will be returned. So this procedure differs from that in the Netherlands.
Fresh products such as our Microdsosing truffles can 'not' be returned due to limited shelf life. This is due to limited shelf life and shipping outside the fridge, as we will not be able to sell them again and will have to destroy them.
Wise Rootz invokes a statutory exception to the right of withdrawal for perishable goods. The law speaks of products that may spoil within a certain period of time.
Quote:Right of withdrawal:
"Exceptions apply to rapidly perishable goods, sealed goods or goods opened by the consumer that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons and are subject to certain dates."
Yes, when you have purchased a product and you abandon the purchase or want to exchange it, you have to pay the return shipping costs yourself.
The truffles can go without problem for 10 to 12 days outside the fridge. Do put them in the fridge immediately after receiving them for optimum freshness.
Yes, this is the best-before date. On the boxes, it is limited to the best-before date of the truffle.

Cocoa refers to the raw basic ingredient obtained from cocoa beans, which come from the cocoa fruit. This cocoa product is usually unrefined and retains its natural nutrients, antioxidants and flavour elements.
Cocoa powder is the result of processing cocoa by roasting, grinding and stripping some of the cocoa fat (cocoa butter). Cocoa powder is often used in baking and cooking and comes in several varieties, such as natural (non-alkaline) and alkalised (Dutch-processed) cocoa powder. Alkalised cocoa powder has a softer flavour and is usually darker in colour than natural cocoa powder. In general, cocoa powder is more processed than raw cocoa, resulting in different flavour profiles and applications in culinary preparations.
Cocoa refers to the basic ingredient obtained from the cocoa bean, which comes from the cocoa fruit. Cocoa is often processed into cocoa powder or cocoa mass by grinding and processing. It contains naturally occurring substances such as antioxidants, flavonoids and theobromine, which can provide various health benefits.
Chocolate, on the other hand, is the final product made by combining cocoa with other ingredients, such as sugar, milk powder and cocoa butter. The chocolate manufacturing process involves melting, mixing, conching (refining) and tempering the ingredients to create different types of chocolate, such as dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Chocolate can vary in taste, texture and sweetness, depending on the proportions and quality of the ingredients.
In short, cocoa is the unprocessed basic ingredient derived from the cocoa bean, while chocolate is the final product made by combining cocoa with other ingredients, resulting in a wide range of delicious treats.
Cacao Nibs are small pieces of cacao beans. They are an unrefined and minimally processed form of cocoa and therefore retain many of the natural nutrients and flavour properties of cocoa beans. Cacao Nibs have an intense chocolate flavour and a crunchy texture.
Ceremonial cocoa and supermarket cocoa differ in several ways:
In short, ceremonial cocoa is often considered a sacred and spiritual superfood, while supermarket cocoa is more common and used for everyday consumption and culinary applications.
The shelf life depends on the product you buy. A block, still in packaging, will keep for years, provided you store it in a cool and dark place.
Cacao in its pure and untempered state contains a natural white marbling, also known as the 'bloom'. This is a natural process related to crystal formation in the cocoa butter due to temperature differences.
This is no cause for concern, these beautiful patterns are simply a sign that your cocoa is rough, earthy and perfectly imperfect.
It may take some time to get used to the texture and appearance of pure cocoa
Even we as a company have had to move past restrictive views on the appearance of our products. There was a time when we thought they had to have that silky, shiny chocolate finish to be considered " good enough".
However, this is not the reality of cocoa medicine, for it actually represents the earth and the divine perfections of all that exists in it. The "good", the bad, the highs, the lows, pain and joy.
When we choose to label something as good or bad, ugly or beautiful, acceptable or unacceptable, we limit our experience of it. These labels do not represent facts, they are not real, just symbols of our own limiting beliefs.
If we leave things as they are, without judgement or expectations, only then can we experience the true beauty of life and all it has to offer.
Store cocoa in a cool, dark place at room temperature. Preferably do not store cocoa in the fridge; this is where it can get damp, which will shorten its shelf life. If necessary, a block of cocoa can be chopped into smaller pieces and stored in, for instance, a glass jar.
The cocoa we offer is of high, ceremonial quality, so the earthy and bitter notes in particular sometimes take some getting used to.
What is true of coffee and wine is also true of cocoa. The flavour of cocoa is strongly linked to the climate and conditions under which it grows and therefore varies enormously from one region to another. Each harvest will therefore also have a different flavour, just like wine and coffee. As a result, the flavour per block may vary.
If you find the flavour a bit too intense and want to soften it a bit, add coconut oil, a sweetener (honey, agave, dates, coconut blossom sugar, panela) or (vegetable) milk, for example.
The morning offers a pleasant moment to start the day with a cup of cocoa. Take cocoa instead of a cup of coffee and start your day with a gentler and more loving energy. Drink consciously, create a moment for yourself.
Of course, you can also schedule a moment for yourself in the afternoon, after a full day, to enjoy a cocoa moment and get back to yourself.
Heating above the boiling point destroys antioxidants and flavonoids, reducing the health benefit.
Yes, our cocoa can definitely be drunk daily. Precisely, regular consumption is important for the best effect to experience the most benefits. In fact, you get the most benefits from cocoa if you drink it with some regularity.
You can definitely drink cocoa, but we do recommend in lesser amounts because of traces of caffeine, as well as theobromine: this substance provides a mild stimulant effect. Therefore, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use a lower dose of cocoa. We recommend consulting your doctor for specific questions.
We would like to inform you of our policy on claims about medicinal properties of herbs and mushrooms on our website. Current EU legislation prohibits making such claims. Although traditional Chinese medicine has been around for thousands of years and has been tested on countless patients, we are not allowed to mention effects confirmed by scientific research. However, we rely on the common sense of our customers and detailed information on mushrooms can be found through public sources on the internet.
When you take a microdose, the idea is to be able to function normally in your daily routine, including driving. However, you will first have to find your ideal dose (Sweet spot) We recommend starting and finding your sweet spot when you have no obligations that day.
In general, it is important to carefully weigh up the potential benefits and risks of microdosing with psychedelics in the context of depression and burnout, and always aim for a safe and responsible approach to your mental health.
Microdosing is seen as a tool or support in the process of self-healing in depression and burnout. It is important to understand that microdosing in itself is not a magic solution, but rather a tool that can point to areas that can be worked on. It is the person themselves who play the main role in the healing process, and microdosing can help facilitate that process by having a more subtle impact on mood and perception.
A realistic and considered approach to microdosing, is key. It can help gain insights, develop heightened awareness and increase resilience, but it is not meant to be a quick fix for complex problems. It requires commitment, self-reflection and often additional efforts, such as therapy, healthy lifestyle choices and social support....
With a realistic view of microdosing, you often get the most out of yourself, which can certainly contribute to personal growth.
This may. This can have several causes. Sometimes just fatigue that the truffle shines a light on. And sometimes because you are dosing too high. We recommend lowering the dosage first, if this lowering does not help you, we recommend taking the microdose an hour before going to bed.
James Fadiman P.h.D. has compiled a list of drugs that, according to people who participated in his research, can be combined with microdosing without any problems. You can view this list of drugs online.
As with anything you ingest, there are always risks.
The use of natural truffles, in any form, does not replace medical advice, treatment or medication. Wise Rootz offers fresh truffles and cocoa as a form of complementary care and as a natural nutritional supplement.
Always consult your doctor and/or psychiatrist if you are in doubt or have a psychological history. All our natural legal truffles are respectfully grown by the world's leading quality grower and our mentor, Fresh Mushrooms. By using this website and our service, you agree to our policies and terms and conditions.
People taking lithium should be careful with psilocybin, as the combination could lead to seizures, according to several reports
People taking MAOIs as medication may experience much stronger effects.
A microdose of Truffles is between 0.5 and 3 grams. Increase the dose until you feel you have reached a pleasurable state where you function normally during your daily routine. "Noticing" microdosing is relative. Often when you notice something , you are just dosing too high. You often only notice a correct dose at the end of the day when you think... "what a nice day".
We do not recommend microdosing when alcohol is consumed. If you want to drink alcohol, we recommend doing so on a non-microdosing day.
You should be able to do all the things you normally do. Driving, working, sports, social activities, but you should feel an increase in social interactions, be more connected with yourself, the environment and nature and feel more in the present moment and at the end of the day have a feeling of "that was a nice day". Check out this page for more information on Sweet spot.
Nausea sometimes occurs when people eat truffles.
Swallowing sin chewing helps for some. And make sure you have a light breakfast.
Unfortunately, some people have this reaction because there are also 5ht2a receptors in your gut (and in the brain) to which the psilocybin attaches.
In the Netherlands, all our products are legal. Each country has its own rules regarding legality. So be sure to check first whether our products are legal in the country you are travelling to.
Even though the rules will not be too bad in one country, you can still get into trouble at customs at airports if you have something with you that they cannot identify or which is questionable. So ask yourself if you think it's worth the risk to bring.
Each microdosing process lasts up to 10 weeks, then you take a break of at least 2 weeks, to avoid tolerance. In this, the brain receptors can reset and you can look back on your journey. What did you learn, what did you integrate and what would you still like to learn and integrate.
Some experience that microdosing reduces tinnitus and some, on the contrary, that it worsens. Most who notice an aggravation experience it during the Microdosing process. We think it is because you become more aware of yourself and thus of your tinnitus. That's also why some people experience a reduction, because, just like the therapy people sometimes get with tinnitus, they learn to shift their attention so that tinnitus fades into the background.
The truffles remain a fresh product, hence the best-before date. We cannot guarantee after that date that they are still good to consume. You will therefore have to test them yourself at your own responsibility.
We recommend swallowing the truffles whole with a sip of water. The active substance is released more slowly, providing a more time-release effect.
Our microdosing truffles are grown on rice, not wheat. so 100% gluten free.
This discolouration cannot cause any harm. It is a natural product with different colours. If washing the truffles causes the membrane to come off a bit, you will see a different colour. The green/blue is the psilocybin, the active substance. In contact with oxygen, the truffles can oxidise which causes this colour. You can safely use the truffles without any problems.
The manual that comes with you states that you start with half a serving(gram) to get familiar and then slowly increase, until you find your "sweet spot". We recommend starting on a day off.
There is about 1 milligram (mg) of psilocybin in 1 gram of natural truffles
Portions may vary. It is a natural product of different sizes and therefore not yet possible to get exactly 1gr in the portions. A scale is therefore a fine tool when starting microdosing.
Our Microdosing truffles can be stored outside the fridge for 10 to 12 days. After that, we cannot guarantee freshness, but usually if they have not turned dark brown/black, you can still use them. Do put them in the fridge right away.
Organic means that, among other things, no chemical or synthetic pesticides may be used. Our fresh truffles are 100% grown without pesticides by our partner, Freshmushrooms LTD.
